Tour of Downtown San Diego, California

Today we’re checking out Downtown San Diego California!

San Diego has some of the best weather and Downtown is home to some great neighborhoods like the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, East Village, and others. With tons of awesome bars, restaurants, shops and of course San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean - there is always something fun to do.

Let’s get after it!

Downtown San Diego Vibes

The epicenter of San Diego, Downtown has a ton to offer. Walkable, bike-able, and good public transportation, it’s easy to get around. Although there are some ‘touristy’ areas, it’s a great place to gather - social destinations like bars, restaurants, shops, music venues, etc. are what make Downtown a lively place.

If quiet neighborhoods, great schools, and suburban conveniences are what you’re after, Downtown probably isn’t for you. But that’s not why you’re looking at moving here - you’re coming here for the hustle and bustle and social lifestyle.

Home Price Statistics There are a huge variety of condos here and likely no single-family homes. On the lowest end, you’re looking at about $300k. However, they can easily get into the millions and go for $10m plus sometimes. Downtown is very renter heavy - 74% of residents do not own.
