Clairemont Vibes
Home to nearly 90,000 residents, the Clairemont community is located a little over 15 minutes north of downtown San Diego. The community is made up 5 neighborhoods - Bay Ho, Bay Park, North Clairemont, Clairemont Mesa East, and Clairemont Mesa West. The community is bordered by the University City neighborhood to the north, the Miramar neighborhood to the northeast, the Kearny Mesa neighborhood to the east, the Serra Mesa neighborhood to the southeast, the Linda Vista and Morena neighborhoods to the south, and the La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Mission Bay neighborhoods to the west.
The school district serving the Clairemont community is the San Diego Unified School District which is rated an A-*. There are two high schools serving the area - Clairemont and Madison High Schools, both of which are rated a B*. There are two middle schools and about 10 elementary schools serving the collection of neighborhoods, all of which rate between an A and B-*.
Home Price Statistics
Like the schools, there is quite the diversity in housing. In terms of median home price sales, Bay Park comes in the highest at around $1.1m, followed by Bay Ho with a median of around $1m, third is Clairmont Mesa West coming in around $990k, fourth is North Clairemont coming in around $935k, and the most affordable would be Clairemont Mesa East coming in around $855k. If you're looking for an epic home with a beautiful view, I would check out Bay Park.
